This is the beginning of an ongoing project to scan the first 65 issues of Anarchy: a Journal of Anarchist Thought. This magazine was produced by Freedom Press in the UK from 1961 – 1970 (there was also a later second run into the 80′s, but I won’t be dealing with that publication).

These qoutes are in the play ‘Antigone’
The question is from textbook:
In lines 75–76, the Choragos accuses Antigone of being “headstrong, deaf to reason,” and unyielding. Later, Creon calls her behavior “barefaced anarchy.” Could either accusation apply to Creon himself? Would you support Antigone’s view of herself or Creon’s view of Antigone? Why?

It might be easiest to take it word by word:
Anarchy–without a ruler or government. Kind of an “everyman for himself” attitude.
Barefaced–not being ashamed of or hiding the fact of said anarchy.
Headstrong–she wants to have her own way, is stubborn, etc.
Deaf to Reason–cannot or will not listen to good common sense.

How do I start my Anarchy “army”?

I know this may sound like i have watched too much fight club but I want to make an army type anarchy club to protect the interests of my fellow anti-corporates and to further the anarchist agenda against corporation. This “army” is not a terrorist cell like on fight club but more like an club of organized punks and anarchists. We don’t want to preach nonviolence but we are not mindless punks or terrorists. They vandalize things and graffiti but does that really make them posers or can i work around that. I however am dedicated to forming an anarchist faction for my area please dont hate.
Well let me rephrase what I was saying. The group I am trying to make is not really an army, i just can’t think of what to classify it as. When i brought up fight club I was really just refering to the billboard painting and promotion of anarchist ideals not the militia or its violent-terroristic activities themselves. We are just some young punks who want to promote anti corporation. When I said we were not nonviolent I meant we get in fights with rednecks and preps at our school alot.
I am 16 and I do not believe in the need for government man. Neither do many people out their over the age of 40. And as far as the whole fist thing goes what about governmental War?

September! Good news! Sons of Anarchy show runner Kurt Sutter was posted on his blog that he has returned to the room a writer for season two. Production begins in late April and SAMCRO should be back on the airwaves in September, give or take months.The June 10, 2008, Toby said he ordered a second season 13 episodes. According to Kurt Sutter these episodes are likely to be founded in September 2009. He also said that he began writing for the second season begins shooting last week of April. This is the earliest date available.

Please don`t leave nazi-comments, or comments which contain nazi-words, because I will delete them anyway. Same goes for any kind of insults against people, groups of people and similar. Thank you. A small video that tries to explain the term anarchy. I know my english is pretty bad, but I hope you’ll get the point. It just explains the term without judging wether it is practicable or not.
