Abraham, speaking through Esther Hicks responds to a question from someone who is having trouble with “Abraham Philosophy”. Esther & Jerry Hicks are the authors of numerous books based on the Teachings of Abraham and their latest book, “Money and The Law of Attraction”, reached #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. For over 20 years, Esther has translated blocks of thought from “Non-Physical Source Energy” – which she also identifies as her “Inner Being” or “Soul” – and who refer to themselves in the plural as “Abraham” (no relation to the Biblical figure). Esther doesn’t use the word “channeling” to describe her process, but understands if others do. Question by pink.love.smile.: What does “barefaced anarchy” and “headstrong, deaf to reason,” means? (from Antigone)?
These qoutes are in the play ‘Antigone’

The question is from textbook:

In lines 75–76, the Choragos accuses Antigone of being “headstrong, deaf to reason,” and unyielding. Later, Creon calls her behavior “barefaced anarchy.” Could either accusation apply to Creon himself? Would you support Antigone’s view of herself or Creon’s view of Antigone? Why?

It might be easiest to take it word by word:

Anarchy–without a ruler or government. Kind of an “everyman for himself” attitude.

Barefaced–not being ashamed of or hiding the fact of said anarchy.

Headstrong–she wants to have her own way, is stubborn, etc.

Deaf to Reason–cannot or will not listen to good common sense.
